August 16 - 22

Join us this Sunday for our Baptism Service. Service starts at 10:00am.

Immediately following the August 16th Worship service, we will be having our annual picnic at the Souderton Park pavilion. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided. We ask the congregation to bring sides, salads, fruits, and desserts. To ensure a variety of those items are brought, we ask those with last names starting with A-M bring either a side or salad and those with N-Z last names bring either a fruit or dessert. Bring a chair, serving spoon (if your dish needs one), and yard games.
If you can help with clean up, please consider staying to help! The more the merrier!

This Weeks Prayer

Psalm of the Week

Psalm 112:4-5

Even in the darkness light dawns for the upright,

for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous.

Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely,

who conduct their affairs with justice.

Local Missionaries

Dave and Shelley Stiansen (Haycock)

Pray for Dave as he serves at Haycock Camping Ministries as Executive Director as well as for Shelley and their kids.

Local Ministry

Worthwhile Wear

Pray for the women who are participating in the restorative programs provided at The Well. Pray for Dan Emr and the staff of Worthwhile Wear as they work to reach and restore women affected by human trafficking.

Prayer for Transformation

Lord, you are righteous and desire heart-righteousness in your people. But I know too well the dangers of pride in my own accomplishments and contempt for the failure of others. Please keep my righteousness from growing hard-edged and ugly. Let me remember that true righteousness is gracious, compassionate, and generous. Amen.

Opportunities to Serve

IVNS Volunteers Needed:

Are you looking for something fun and rewarding to do this school year and also serve IVNSK&1? We have the perfect fit! IVNSK&1 afternoon Volunteers support the school from 1 to 3 pm only several times a month based on their availability. We help the staff and teachers by answering the phone and door cam, copying, cutting, tracing, gluing, and so many more fun activities! We are looking for several more people to volunteer. If you are interested in this fulfilling ministry or know someone who would be a good fit, please contact Linda McKown at lmckown@comcast.net or 215-723-0453 (landline).
